2. Spotlight: System Mapping for Advocacy Planning and Evaluation
Advocacy efforts typically try to change issues or relationships that exist within complex systems or environments. Getting a handle on these environments and understanding how changes are expected to play out can be challenging. This article introduces system mapping, a method to help tackle this challenge. It describes three types of system maps, and offers examples of how each type has been used in real-life advocacy planning and evaluation efforts.
